General Description:
l CF-A81 and CF-A101 are decolored aldehyde resins and can be applied in a wide range of coatings, and have excellent effects in increasing the anti-yellowing, coating glossiness and hardness, especially suitable for preparation of universal color pastes.

Features and Applications:
l Aldehyde resins can be mixed with N/C, alcoholic acids or PU, chlorinated resin copolymer, and plasticizers for forming transparent or colored paints, which are applicable to the coating on wooden articles, metal and paper.
l Aldehyde resins solutions have low viscosity and good fluidity. Besides they can increase the degree of cure of paints as well as the thickness, glossiness, hardness and anti-yellowing of the coating film.
l Aldehyde resins are insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, and thus are applicable to gasoline-proof paints.
l Aldehyde resins can be used in baking varnish formation. Neither odors are not given out nor are glossiness affected during baking process. 5% addition can increase the hardness from 1H to 3H, with good bending resistance.
Advantages of Aldehyde resins against Polyketone resins & Maleic resins:
l Lighter color;
l Better anti-aging and anti-yellowing performance;
l Better fluidity, lower solution viscosity, and higher degree of cure;
l Allow better solubility of N/C in mixture solvents;
l Better flexibility;
l Simpler dissolving and easier operation;
l Faster drying.
Aldehyde resins apply to UV coatings, should pay attention to:
l First, do formula aging test in the UV system:If the UV specimen baked in an80℃oven over four hours, and then be put into gel, then the aldehyde resin can't be used, and should be replaced;After eight hours without gel, the aldehyde resin can be used.
l If aldehyde resin is dissolved or dispersed in high temperature, the product maybe easy to gel. You should cool it and then make products.
